Dieser NiMH-Akku mit 170 mAh dient als Ersatz-Spannungsversorgung für Car-System-Fahrzeuge. Dank kleinster Abmessungen passt der NI170 in nahezu alle unterschiedlichen Fahrzeuge. Die einzelnen Pole des Akkus können einfach gelötet werden, um gegebenenfalls durch Serienschaltung die entsprechende System-Spannung von 2.4 V zu erreichen (Systemspannung 1.2 V = 1 x NI170, Systemspannung 2.4 V = 2 x NI170 in Serienschaltung). Aufgeladen werden die Akkus mit dem bestehenden Car-System-Ladegerät.
